Our History

Cory's Lil Anglers was formed in 2023 in memory of Cory Boudreau a local fishing expert. Cory believed in the benefits of recreational fishing and the joy that comes from spending a day on the water. Cory spent many hours introducing children to fishing and providing gear to families in need. Sadly , Cory's lost his battle with mental illness in 2022 and his loss was felt throughout the recreational fishing community. In late 2022 a group of friends decided to create an organization in memory of cory and help continue his mission to introduce families into the love of recreational fishing. 2023 Cory's Lil Anglers Organization was founded and launched our first season with great success. With over 700 children and their families introduced to fishing, we suddenly realized the demand in the community with some events bringing almost 300 kids out fishing. 2024 saw another big year with over 1300 participants at our events across HRM.
